What you need to know about bales.

Fabric Bales are a collection of unique and uncommon fabrics neatly and tightly packed to accomodate as much as can fit into bags depending on the bag size. They usually come in different yardage depending on the type you are selecting (1 yard up, Roll, PR, SP, Bundles). They are unique and uncommon because they are not easily found in the market. Before you select a bale, you have to make up your mind to accept whatever you get. Bales are always a good buy, but it is usually a mixture of great fabrics, and a few misprints. The average bale contains an approximately combined total of about 500 yards of different fabrics, and different bales have their different prices. Depending on the type of fabric you deal in (Crepe, Chiffon, Lycra, Damask, Chantilly, Sequence, Ankara, Lace etc.), If you are a good sales person, you could get as much as 400% return on investment from a bale.

Types of Bales
1-yard-up: This type of bale consists of fabrics within the range of 1 to 3 yards per design. They are usually in bits and pieces of different designs. If you are a wholesaler, you might not want to go for this type of bale because your customers might need their fabrics in more quantity than just a few yards. However, if you are a ready to wear fashion designer or retailer, you might find this type of bale more appealing because it helps you maintain a unique standard since the fabric designs are not easily found in the market. In the fashion industry, fashionisters like to standout.

Roll Bales: This type of bales consists of fabrics within the range of 3 to 10 yards per design. It is also suitable for fabric retailers.

SP Bales: This type of bales are recommended for people who are buying bales for the first time because they contain fabrics within the range of 5 to 15 yards per design. Most times, customers want to buy fabrics from five yards and above, so with the SP, your customers would get what they want.

PR Bales: This types of bales contain fabrics from 10 yards and above per design. It is good for wholesalers who are just starting.

Bundles: This is the bale for fashion designers that produce in bulk, or wholesalers who sell in large quantities. This kind of bale contain fabrics from 30 yards and above per design.

Selection: This is not really a bale but a carefully selected collection of fabrics for our customers based on trust. The customer makes payment for it, and we in turn select the finest fabrics worth that amount at wholesale price, and deliver to them.
